Who is training whom

Dogs may in charge of the world, but we just don’t know it.

Here’s something to ponder...

I read this interesting greeting card the other day which said essentially, that an alien looking down on the world might see two beings - a two-legged being and a four-legged being. The four-legged being drops something out of his rear end, and the two-legged being picks it up and deals with it.

Who do you think that the alien believes is in charge?

When you think about our relationship with dogs, it often seems that the dogs are training their humans, not the other way around.

You may say "sit" a dozen times a day, and the dog does your bidding, but how many times a day does your dog tell you that it wants you to throw a ball for him, and you do. In my case, I throw the ball for Zoom a whole lot more than he sits for me!!!

I once heard this nutty theory that dogs are in charge of the world, but we just don’t know it. Who knows - maybe it’s right.
