The Dalmatian's Job
Dalmations were bred to run long distance beside carriages, keeping the morale of the horses up, and acting as an alarm, if anyone approached the carriage when the owners were occupied elsewhere. In North America, they ran beside fire trucks. In this item, you meet two owners who are trying to keep the spirit of the Dalmatian alive in their animals, by training them to run beside them as they cycle, and cross the country side in an old fashioned carriage.
